RedBrick Kitchen & Bar in Dexter

Could be great. But attention to detail is not 5 star. Food is good,but not awesome.

The burger was large with tasty meat on a pretzel roll. The fries were great, narrow cut with salt and pepper, and stuck to each other. The BLT had thick-cut bacon. It was delicious and we took half home and it was delicious the next day. The prices are reasonable. It compares well to the other excellent restaurants in Dexter.

RedBrick served one of the best brunches we've ever had. We had a larger party and they didn't even skip a beat. The chicken and waffles we're especially amazing.

Food was great, as always! We had a group of 8, all were pleased overall. One negative only- one gent ordered soup that never arrived. Busy on weekends, so give it a try during the week to avoid the crowd.

Their Reuben is fantastic! Lots of corned beef, bread is not soggy. Their fries are great as well. Service was awesome.

Stopped here while passing through town. Decided to try something we hadnt before. Had the fish and chips. I forget what type of fish, but it was good. A little thick on the breading for my liking, but I wasnt unhappy. The macaroni and cheese was delicious as well!

Awesome spot for lunch. The service was really great, but the food was to die for. I had the roast beef special, which was a fantastic sandwhich. The person I was with had the salmon sandwhich, and the salmon was cooked perfectly. The chips and guacamole were also phenomenal. Not in Dexter often, but will definitely be back for this place.

The Red Brick is a wonderful local spot, with delicious cocktails and foods, and sweet ambience downtown. The owners do a great deal for the community, and we go there regularly to support this wonderful local business! Cheers!

Food was excellent and the service was quick! My 7 year didn't even have to nag us where her food was every 10 minutes. Also had great happy hour prices even on a Saturday. We'll definitely go back!

My review is not nearly as glowing as others. Our paper menus were badly soiled. The menu is the most important first impression a guest sees. It is the easiest thing to get right. Big Fail. Can only guess at the kitchen hygiene. Another reviewer got it right. Just the right place for folks who dine with their dog. The dinner portion of the fish and chips was one small thin fillet--really stingy--lots of okay fries. Poor little fishie was cooked satisfactorily but just average. Wait person just fine... On what could be the positive side, it was almost deserted at lunch. Very quiet and solitary.

Stopped in for a quick bite around 4:30. Had a couple of Happy Hour specials, chicken taco and chicken drumsticks. Both delicious. Service was attentive.

Good variety and they are willing to make modification for diet, like make the Rustic tuscan pasta vegan for my wife or add spices like extra garlic for me. :)

Really good food! It is slightly expensive but it is a nice place. Most people were in dress shirts and pants.

Great spot in Dexter! Good food and a very nice environment. I rented the upper room out for my wife's 40th bday party and things couldn't have gone smoother. Staff is really friendly and easy to work with. Definitely a spot we'll hit again next time we're downtown.

Honestly one of my favorite restaurants of all time. The food is amazing, the menu is always being updated, and the service is top notch. The outdoor seating in the summer is also a great bonus. Highly recommend!

When they first opened, the food was excellent! It was definitely the "go to" place. Unfortunately, their food has been on a constant decline. 😒 One of my favorite dishes is their fish and chips. Two good size pieces of fish, two large shrimps, and a good serving of fries. GREAT tartar sauce! Unfortunately now they serve a thin piece of fish, Cole sauce, and fries. Now the tartar sauce is thin and tasteless. For the same price. Really??? The brick burger used to have great flavor. Now it tastes like a frozen burger from GFS. The last two times I asked for medium rare and received medium well. So disappointed. It makes me wonder if they are struggling to stay in business. If so, go back to the original menu to keep your customers coming back. I would definitely not recommend to my friends. The only reason I gave one star is because the service help are very pleasant. So sad.

Tasty, tasty, tasty! Loved the menu with enough vegetarian and gluten-free options. Loved the sweet potato bisque, beet salad, and bean burger. Had good service too.

Does not dissappoint, there was a small wait when we arrived but it wasn't too long, we got the Bi Bim Bap, and the Steak and OMG I have never tasted something so amazing!

They've been slowly improving both the interior and their food. We had an okay meal recently, although there were a few problems that left us less than satisfied. Overly greasy fried items and ice cold cheese curds in the poutinne plus torn, food-stained menus didn't quite live up to the $50 price tag for two people. But we'll try again. It's a little better each time.

Delicious food. Reasonably priced. The best cocktails in town. Service is hit or miss.

Food was terrific 5/5! Service not great 3.5 ( waitress takes order, different person delivers, and has to ask who ordered each dish....tacky. Plus slow (under staffed on busy night) . Atmosphere OK 4/5 we were seated four at a small table crammed in corner by pillars.

Excellent brunch options!

This place is just ok, I keep wishing it was better! They do have a few gluten free options and plenty of drink options. They also have a nice patio for outdoor dining. Still, many choices are uninspired --the ubiquitous Michigan salad, sweet potato fries, and a kids menu that offers.a.choice between buttered noodles and noodles with marinara sauce. And I keep wondering, why is this place so popular? ? Not many choices for dining in Dexter, Michigan, is the answer I suspect.

I think 3 is kind on the high side. Food cost more and not as good as it is in my home town.

Found out about this place from an accidental text from the chef. Decided to make a day trip to the Ann Arbor area and this was definitely the highlight of the trip. The food was great. The service impeccable. The mussels with the lemongrass sauce was killer. Red Brick is now on our must visit list. Already planning another trip and bringing friends.

Great food. Good place to go before a show at the encore theater as it's within walking distance. Service is a little show so give yourself ample time for a leisurely meal!
